iPhone 4s has a black screen chimes constantly when plugged?

After installing a power sensor cable into a iphone 4s I turned on the phone and just got a black screen. no apple logo just backlight. When I connected to itunes or power plug it chimes every few seconds. The phone shows up on itunes and restore and back up seems to work but still no image sometime no backlight.

UPDATE: The phone was sent out and was swapped. sorry for anyone who has the same problem. I couldn't figure it out so we tried sending it out to apple and sure enough they hooked it up with another phone.

Well i haven't done any changes to mine, my son dropped it and suddenly it turned to white screen then it turned black, at first, i was able to unlock it even when it was black screen and i was able to receive call etc … now, i let it drained out, connected it back , then it remained black now, vibrating every few seconds without any response, tried to press on the back top left side (next to the camera) unplugged and plugged all the connections, removed and reconnected the battery cable, just did it all, BUT it keeps vibrating …. PLEASE HELP …

please help because i am having this problem too. I have done a conversion but now nothing is happening, i placed the fone on charge and it keeps vibrating every 5 secs or so and only get very dim backlight only really noticeable in the dark..itunes recognises the fone and iv done a restore...iv tried my old lcd and its doing the same now, I know iv definately damaged the old lcd/digitizer which worked before cnversion(i stuck my screw driver in it thinkin i could just swap the lcd and digitizer dumb i know)i also think i damaged the lcd cable on the new kit...could this be the cause?but why would the lcd or digitizer make my fone vibrate if it was damaged? PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!
