I recently bought a new casing for my iPod touch 5 and it doesn't come with that little "iPod loop". I can't figure out how to separate it from the old casing, and fixit doesn't seem to have a guide for this. Can anyone tell me how to take it off?
Edit: This thing right here. I've tried everything I can, but I just can't figure out how to remove it.

OK, now I get what you are struggling with! This is from the iPod Touch 5th Generation 16 GB 2014 Teardown Step 2
The iPod Touch 5th Gen 16 GB 2014 gains the wrist-strap peg previously reserved for the upper echelons of the Touch line—though you'll have to shell out some more dough for the strap itself, which is sold separately.
It's not removable as then you will have a hole in the case.
Did you buy the wrong case? As the iPod Touch has a few different cases depending on the generation. Here's a great resource to help ID the different generations Index of all iPod spec's

Just edited my question. Y iPod is reassembled right now, so I used a picture from the teardown. The casing I bought was a secondhand one without the "iPod loop", so it must be removable somehow.
