How take out the engine that drive the brew group

on my machine i can't put the brew group in place because the motor direction is wrong and i can't touch it because the machine doesn't want to start probably i have to repair the engine

I have the EQ 7 and a message of “check brewing unit appears every time”. I have removed and inserted the brewing unit few times but the same message is showing.

@boukharite86160 (1) I have two questions: Is it really a EQ5? (2) Are you sure that the issue is with the drive, does it move?

Replacing the drive is the worst fix for this model, see this video. Perhaps you can move the drive using the service menu, ( I'm not quite sure):

  1. Set the selector switch to “Rinse.”
  2. Press and hold “Off” and “Start.”
  3. Turn on.
  4. Release “Off” and “Start.”
  5. Select the topics using the upper rotary switch.
  6. Use “Off” to go to the corresponding submenu.
  7. Select the subtopics using the upper rotary switch.
  8. Use “Steam” to go back one level.

I would open the device and locate the drive. Perhaps you can connect the motor leads to a power unit at about 12 V DC to move the motor.

The EQ5 ist very similar to the EQ6, our guides might be of some use for you.

Think you for this specified and useful answer .1) it is an EQ5 MacchiatoPlus i think a 12v injection can be a solution 2) am not Shure about the issue the machine just light on and the start button blinks all the time no more reaction fron any button and nothing is turning on

With the machine disconnected trying with 12v injection directly to the red and white wires on the drive that you gave a link to mine looks the same I hear a sound but no movement from the motor. Could it be that the machine is disconnected from the wall socket? or how is this to be done? very grateful.

I would like to avoid disassembling the entire machine.
