Should I remove SSD in my situation?

Hi there.

I want replace my broken screen and first of all I should remove the display. So I stopped at this step: MacBook Air 11" Mid 2011 Display Assembly Replacement cause I have broken thread of screw. Its bad I know but I do not want replace SSD. So my question: Can I continue this guide without remove of SSD?

It appears to me that you can continue with the guide without removing the card. Just be sure to observe ESD protocols when working on your machine, read through this before working on your machine: Electrostatic discharge (ESD) control
