PowerBook wont start again

hi there

ac connector (65 watts! ) the dc plug ( goes into book) broke while i was on trip.

book was left on for 2 days.

finally the already weak battery went dead.

book indicator lights kept blinking for 2 more days but book didnt start up anymore.

now i got a new (65w) adapter, book wont start anmyore. no sond, no fan, not any noise of responde. no indicaterlights are blinking and it doesnt charge battery either.

is there an internal batterypack as it was with the old G4 titanim that could run dead?

(guess batterypack now is completly dead wich i supposed did happen after complete drain)

(PMU restart failed also with new ac connected.

any suggstion?

After getting about a 20% charge as Owen mentioned if it still won't start, remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. Replace the battery and power supply and give it a try. Yes, this machine does have a PRAM battery. If you keep losing the date and time, you'll need to replace it. These powerbook models, to my knowledge, must have some charge left in the battery to start. If I completely drain my PowerBook G4 I have to put another somewhat charged battery in it before it can start. Once it is started you can keep it pugged in and change the batteries. I would ask if a friend has a battery you could borrow or maybe a coworker.

Hope this helps.
