8BitDo Ultimate 2.4g- How to replace conductive rubber under triggers.

The Right trigger button on my 8BitDo Ultimate 2.4g Wireless Controller has stopped responding correctly 8 months after purchase. Support is sending me replacements for the conductive rubber located under the trigger buttons, but it may not have instructions on how to actually perform the replacement.

Could someone point me to a guide on how to do this? Apparently this is a common problem.

Any info appreciated. Thanks!

Answer this question I have this problem too

I actually had this happen to me a few days ago, and streamed my repair and created a disassembly guide for it, feel free to check it out: Disassembling 8BitDo Ultimate Bluetooth Controller

The guide doesn't detail replacing the pads specifically, but it provides instructions for reaching and taking them out. Just skip the irellevant steps (like accessing the front buttons and taking out the rumble motors), and re-assemble by reversing the steps.
