How can I upgrade this with a SSD?
Hello, ifixit-Team!
I have a question about my MacBook Pro (Late 2008). To be more specific, those are the last 3 numbers of my serial number: 1GA (if that helps).
I am thinking about replacing the original hard drive (a 320-GB-Sata drive) with a new SSD. But now, I have a few questions:
1.: It says in my Mac-Manual that a drive needs to be 2.5" - Can you suggest specific ones?
2.: I heard, that Intel's SSDs are good. Is that true? I will need about 250 GB - Can you suggest specific ones?
3.: Does my model of MacBook Pro have a good enough Sata "Connector" (Don't know how I call this)?
Thanks,
Leon
Update
How does the Intel system with the series work? Is 320 the worst and 920 the best or what? I don't really get the system.
Is this a good question?
