M2 Screws for battery replacement

Hi - I want to replace the battery in my Dell XPS13 and need the three M2 x 2 screws to hold the battery in (managed to lose them). I can get M2 x 2.5 but can't find anyone who stocks M2 x 2. Can anyone suggest a source OR can let me know if I can get away with M2 x 2.5 - I suspect they may be too proud. Thanks

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi @mick26213

Please confirm the model number of the laptop?

Looking at p.18 of the owner manual for the model you selected, it shows that there are 4 screws securing the battery.

How did you verify the length of the screws and what is the screw head diameter, so that it will sit in the battery screw hole? Found a few suppliers for M2 x 2mm but they had different cap (screwhead) sizes, e.g. M2 x 2mm x 6mm (cap) which mightn't work if it is too big

@jayeff Thanks for getting back - it's the 9343/9350.

iFixit had the M1.6 x 4 fourth one but not the M2 x 2s. The length is in the ifixit repair guide and marked on the old battery itself. I've measured the cap size because they are countersunk in the battery and it is 6mm. So grateful if you can share a possible supplier.

Hi @mick26213

Might depend on your location but here's the supplier I found.
