Restarts itself automatically every few minutes

I had same problem, and then discovered that I had a 3GS, and not a 3G, so I had put a 3G battery in a 3GS. Would this be the reason why it was doing this in my situation?

kirkstum, yes that is most likely your problem The batteries from a 3G and 3GS are not interchangeable. Hope this helps, good luck.
