When you rinse, does water come out? So my first idea is the flowmeter. Is it perhaps clogged and therefore not reporting any water flow to the electronics? Open the machine. Step 12, first picture shows the flowmeter, the small white round box next to the brewing unit. Open it and clean it, as described e.g.here.

This totally saved my Jura from sending it in for repairs thank you so much although what happened was I did everything, cleaned it put it back together and it still kept saying rinse. I reversed the tubes because I wasn’t sure if I put them incorrect and tried it a few more times it kept saying the same thing so I figured I was going to send it in but then I reverse them back again to the proper way and now it works like a charm. Maybe it just needed to unclog something and the reversing of the tubes did that. in any event thank you very much.

@kimwoodbridge So the flowmeter - as often - was the culprit. The channel where the water flows in is very narrow, for sure it was clogged. Congratulation to your repair!
