I was trying to Open the Screws mentioned in Step 8 in your user guide with Philip #00 screw driver but i was not able to. You have mentioned in guide that its a 1.2mm and 1.6 mm philip screw. what should i use to open it?

Hi Rajesh,
I suppose you are talking about step 8 of the iPhone 4 repair manual...
If the Phillips #00 screwdriver doesn't work, try to use a different mini slot screwdriver that is small enough to (deeply!) fit into the screw.
As you gently press and hold the screwdriver on the screw, gently and slowly try to turn it. Don't press to strong.
It seems to me that tiny screws are sometimes pretty "sensitive" and like to be treaten "softly". In my experience, sometimes less pressure and force seem to be the key.

I only have the tool kit which i bought online ( which has one Philips #00 screwdriver and one flat head). Please suggest me the next lower level tool which i should buy. Your help will be appreciated.

Hi Rajesh,
I am not familiar with the screwdriver systems here in the States. You might go to a store with your Phillips screwdriver and compare it with a smaller screwdriver that fits better into the screw.
I don't know if you screws or screw driver are already worn/foozled out. In case they are, try to use some aluminum foil and wrap it around the top of the screw driver one or two times. This might give you a renewed tightness between the screwdriver and the screw. Then try to loosen the screws again. Be careful and always be gentle to these mini screws.
