Pixel 5a-5g IFIXIT Screen for Replacement.

I have what I think is minor water damaged screen (happened from a minor splash on beach walk). The screen started to pixelate immediately the went blank over a few days. The phone powers up and just no screen

I am wondering what is the correct IFIXIT item for my MODEL GAO2618-US 5a5g (model not seen on IFIXIT web). I see two options

  1. IF356-229-2 6.00 in
  1. IF356-282-2 6.34 in

Does anyone know which one is correct for my model, if any?

Hi @russf

Looking at the information that you supplied, ifixit part number IF356-229-2 is for a Pixel 5 display and part number IF356-282-2 is for a Pixel 5a display.

The Pixel 5a specifications show that it has a 6.34" display which is what is shown for the ifixit Pixel 5a display, whereas the Pixel 5 specifications show that it has a 6.00" display.

Hopefully this may help to clarify it for you.
