Saeco Odea Giro Flashing thermostat light.

My Saeco Odea Giro machine has a blinking thermostat light at startup implying the boiler is heating but it never stops blinking and I can’t initiate a brew.

I don’t have easy access to a service centre so I would be grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction on how to solve it.

Answer this question I have this problem too

@seychellian First help: use the test mode and proof, if the heating really works. If not open the machine. Look for the heating and measure its resistance, it should be 40 Ohm for 230 V models. (Or 10 Ohm for 120 V). If not: replace the heater. Describe your observations, good luck!

Oh, so you will replace the heating. Open the device, look for the heating. I found the service manual for Odea - but it's in german. The pictures in page 45 will help you. In english here
