No power only fan and heat

I left my Mac overnight near the humidifier and now it’s not turning on.

The fan spins really fast and the middle green rectangle gets really hot .

I tried smc restart but the charger lights green and then orange again.

(The fan is working normally when closed)

The fact the system was in sleep mode when this happened, the humidity from the humidifier could have condensed within the systems internals creating corrosion and/or short out needed pathways.

At this point you need to open the system and visually inspect the logic board for damaged components (burnt) and/or corrosion.

Thank you so much for your extremely quick answer , I’m glad it’s not a screen issue

Is there a chance for it to be a missing component?

@titansaleh - I can’t tell you where the issue is and it could be more than one thing. Which is why you need to investigate by looking.

I also didn’t rule out the display. Why did you think that? Did you drop the system as well?
