How many parts I can remove before the phone stops functioning?

Hello,

I am working on a small project where the only things I need are the camera working, an SD card, and as low as possible battery usage.

@skating9155 that will all depend on what your firmware checks on POST. Since you have that phone I would start with the basics. The main board, connect the charging board, and the display. Those are teh must have parts for sure. Then see if it starts up. Add one component at a time and restart again. Once it starts up without error message you know what the minimum parts are.
