How to glue the battery + keyboard not lighting up properly

First quick question, I replaced the battery on my old 13" but it doesn't seem to be glued properly as you can hear and feel it jumping around when shaking the pc. Can I use a normal super-glue to glue it back or is there a specific glue to use for that?

Secondly, the backlight for the keyboard was working perfectly fine, until I replaced the battery and cpu thermal paste. After those operations, the backlight is much softer and not uniform. I checked the connections on the motherboard and they seem all connected well. Any advice on what to look for here?

Thank you!

I wouldn’t use such a powerful glue to hold the battery or the bottom cover as it’s too powerful! Besides it doesn’t do well on uneven surfaces or some plastics like what is used in the battery.

The thin adhesive sheets many alternative battery makers use often don’t work as needed and not having a spotlessly clean surface doesn’t help either.

Take the battery out and clean any remaining bumps of adhesive that’s still remaining where the battery sits using cotton swabs (Q-Tips). Carefully peel off the thin glue sheet and again cleaning all the adhesive off. Then instead I use the larger 3M quick release pulls placing two per cell set equally.
