My iMac is a A1418 / EMC 2883, iFixit only has A1418 / EMC 2833, same?

Hello, I have an "iMac Core i5 3.1 21.5" (4K, Late 2015)" My iMac is a model "A1418 / EMC 2883", yet when I put my serial number into everymac, it returns a model with the exact same specs and model, yet the EMC number is 2833 rather than 2883. Similarly, iFixit only has guides for A1418 / EMC 2833. I would like to replace the HDD in this mac with a 2.5" SSD, and I have found the following iFixit page with a drive replacement guide: iMac Intel 21.5" Retina 4K Display 2015 as well as these adhesive strips: iMac Intel 21.5" Display Adhesive Strips Replacement

I have a feeling that my EMC number is slightly different due to the fact that this iMac has 16GB of memory instead of the standard 8GB of memory? Anyway, my question is: can I safely follow the guide above and will the adhesive strips work for my iMac?

Many thanks!

Looked up the serial number on:

  • checkcoverage.apple.com
  • macfinder.co.uk
  • appleserialnumberinfo.com

All the sites seem to report it as iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, Late 2015) with 8GB RAM, so the different EMC number is probably due to the increased RAM. Anyway case/instructions/adhesives should be the same
