phone still vibrates when plugged in but screen is completely black

the phone recently dropped and fell completely faced down, and while there are absolutely no visible cracks on the screen- the phone is unresponsive- the screen shows no visuals at all- when someone calls the phone, you're able to still answer it if you press the area where the call answer button normally is (basically the touchscreen still works) and the phone vibrates when powering off, or plugging it into a charger

there is some damage on the back cover of the phone- it has a crack on it, and since the plastic is so thin, if you were to pry it a bit more- you could basically see the interals

is there a repair for this?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi @nanineko

Most likely there is non-visible, internal damage to the AMOLED screen.

Replace the display assembly and check if that resolves the problem.

Below are the Samsung part numbers for the different coloured display assemblies used in the model. Search online for the part number only, applicable to the colour housing of your model to find suppliers that suit you best.

black - GH82-28025A GH82-28024A

white - GH82-28025B GH82-28024B

light blue - GH82-28025C GH82-28024C

peach - GH82-28025D GH82-28024D
