Before we can answer we’ll need to know what you’re trying to accomplish. What are you trying to adapt to what?

Such a quick response! I have a Mac Pro 2019 which has the t2 chip. I had to have the logic board replaced and I have a Mac module ssd drive that was raided to another internal.

I only want to make a copy of what’s on the Mac Ssd module. But only know to connect it via the computer. Doing so will fry the existing data. This is what I’m trying to avoid.

I hope this makes sense. Thank you in advance to any insight anyone has.

Just not possible!

This series does not use a true SSD but instead uses a set of Flash modules there is no means to access the data from within them unless they are installed in the given system they came out of which offers the controller element (the data is striped across the modules) and the security key as the data held is also encrypted!

Last point you can’t alter which module sits in which bay either! A needs to sit in bay A and so on. B won’t work in bay A or any other combo this is due the the data striping and the first module is also slightly different as it hold the firmware bootloader.

Review Step 11 with in Mac Pro 2019 Teardown and then jump to Step 8 within this iMac Pro Teardown as it’s the same module.
