Non-upgradable RAM on M2 Air?

I was wondering why all of the people are saying the RAM on M series Macbook cannot be upgraded. There are clearly two 4GB DDR5 RAMs on the base model. Is it because of the supplier issue ? I would like to know more.

99.9% of people asking if it can be upgraded just don’t have the tools or expertise to do it.

Very few people just have a rework station laying around and the ones who do aren’t asking how to upgrade because they already know how to do so.
