Why is my ps4 not turning on

My ps4 slim is not turning on and everything works (i have tested) when i try to use the controller to on the playstation it keeps on flashing.

Feel the top of your PlayStation.. is it hot? Also I think to get rid of the flashing problem you just got to keep holding the PS button.. the reason why your PS4 might not be turning on is because a cord might not be properly put in the back of your TV I don't know everything.. I hope this helps a bit..
