recrimp wi-fi connector lead or replace MacBook air antenna?

I think I’m out of my league, in trying to find a problem with my daughter’s macbook air motherboard I ended up breaking off a connector to what I think is the wi-fi card. Was unsuccesful with a resoldering repair, wire is very fine (pictures are zoomed in). Should I try to purchase a fresh connector lead for recrimping or just replace the whole antenna assembly? What is best site for purchase? Thanks!

I was unable to find a replacement antenna lead (likely too niche of a part), so the only other option would be to replace the antenna assembly.
