Device will not boot up, or enter UEFI

Hi,

My Surface Pro 8, when pressing the power button will display the windows icon for 2 seconds, then go to a black scree, the same happens when pressing either volume up or down when pressing the power button. I've also tried holding the power button for minutes, but no difference.

I've tried replacing the SSD, but still the same condition.

What are my options?

I have the same issue with a tablet only a year old. Did you get anywhere with this? I researched and I believe its a firmware issue and requires disassembly then unplugging the battery to reset the flash memory. I have not attempted this yet, but, if I do I will post my results.
