MacBook Pro White screen after repair?

I just replaced my upper case and glass cover for my macbook pro 13 early 2011 I got to boot it up and it stays on a white screen makes all the right sounds at start up just no video ? I do have the CD's to reboot it Just didnt want to take it that far unless i absolutely have to .

Perhaps the LED screen is not properly connected/faulty, or the video card gave up on you. Try connecting your laptop to an external display. Start it up, wait a few minutes (assuming it's loading up all the way to desktop) and then connect your external display. I've got a 13" macbook pro mid 2010 doing the same. Not sure if i'll be able to do anything about it (I dont want to buy a new logic board at $500) but at least I can use the laptop as a desktop computer.

You pooched something in reassembly, this IS NOT a BOOT CD issue. Follow DrFrantz's advice to determine if the fault is in the VGC (bad and expensive) or the link to, or possibly LED it's self (might be 'fixible" if you've a lose connection ).
