@yankee98 There are usually two reasons a computer overheats. One is dust clogging up the fan, the second is thermal paste needing replacement which involves removing the heatsink.

Given that your Mac is relatively new, most likely the dust is the problem.

The bad news is this Mac will take an extensive amount of labour to reach the heatsink and fan because of its design. The good news is that ifixit guides are available for you to refer to.

You can remove the fan to clean any visible dust, but it may need replacing if badly clogged.

I would also recommend redoing the thermal paste when the computer is already opened, the process of which is linked at the bottom of the heat sink guide.

Here's the Heat sink guide and Fan guide.

Thank You. Do I need a computer vacuum to do this work?

I like this challenge hope I can fix it.

Nope you don't need a vacuum.

You just need a small watercolor brush to brush off the dirt on the fan, or a replacement fan if the old one is too severely clogged and you can't reach the dirt.

Be gentle when you brush, fan blades can break if you use too much force.
