The automatic sliding doors are a complicated system of sensors, motors, solenoids and conditions under which they will or will not (normally) operate. An example of those conditions is a safety feature designed to protect passengers such that if a rear window is rolled down the side doors will not open automatically.

The Sliding Doors section of the Honda 2004 Odyssey Owner's Manual describes these conditions.

For advanced trouble shooting of the sliding doors, there is an excellent section on Power Sliding Door Troubleshooting in the Honda 2004 Odyssey Service Manual.

These steps may help you resolve issues with the sliding doors.

Thanks, I think it's a problem with the door motor/sensor bc none of the windows are open.
