Slow spinning side brush

My Roomba 535 the side brush is turning slowly, even with a fully charged battery, I already changed the battery for a new one but it still keeps turning slowly. any repair suggestions?

Hi @sandronardi

Could be a sticking or faulty side brush motor (example only).

Here's a video that may help.

Read some of the comments below the video as to what some of the problems with the side brush motor can be.

If the motor is faulty, replacements are available online. Search for Roomba 500 series side brush motor to find suppliers that suit you best.

Hi @sandronardi did you replace just the motor, or the whole motor and gearcase assembly. If you replaced the whole assembly, then it might be a control board problem. The gears have teeth that break and make the sweeper run slowly or erratically. Here's a link to a troubleshooting page:Roomba Sweeper Brush Not Spinning

Buddy, replaced the whole assembly, put a new engine. And the brush keeps turning slowly.
