Replace cracked glass with used part?

I have one LG Stylo 5 with working touchscreen but chipped glass (chunk out) and one with good glass but shattered picture. Can I combine them?

@melissatho86355 unless you have the experience and tools of doing a glass only repair, it is pretty much safer and cheaper to get a new display assembly. Remember you would need a hotplate, a laminating machine possibly a air bubble remove etc and various things like OCA ore LOCA etc. The cost of purchasing all that will be multiple times higher than a new screen.

Use something like this video to replace the display. Cost for a replacement is around USD $30 and available at various online stores.

Of course, we are not saying it can't be done with some really thin wire and some heat, isopropyl alcohol to clean it and just pour some LOCA/OCA and hope you will not have any bubbles etc, but your chance of a decent quality is low since you would have to do the procedure twice. Hopefully you would not break the glass or the LCD.

While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has the same problem as you do.
