My left stick "clicks in" when pressing it to the right?

My left stick started doing this a few months back. If I press the left stick to the right enough it's almost like I'm clicking in L3. It's a bit difficult to explain but it feels like something is clicking in. I got in RMA'd and it felt normal again when I got it. But now it's doing it again. I'm wondering if anyone knows what it is, what's causing it, or if it's even something one should be concerned about. I read somewhere that it could potentially be rubbing up against the wire that's for the touchpad and over time it could potentially cut the wire for the touchpad and break it. I don't think I can RMA it again due to my warranty being expired.

Answer this question I have this problem too

I don’t see too much that could be getting stuck from the internals other than a small cable that’s part of the joystick itself. That doesn’t mean there isn’t some debris wedged in here. It would be worth popping it open and just removing the stick and cleaning everything up.Take a look and see if anything looks amiss.

Put it back together and see if that helps.Replace the stick if necessary.
