Updating the logic board and memory.

I would like to upgrade the logic board but do not know what is compatible for the interior of the MacBook white uni body from 2009. I'd like to bring as close to date as possible. I love the MacBook white's body so I'd like to keep it. And the DVD drive is a plus. An I think the memory/ storage is HHD but I want SSD. So my question is how do I find out what is the highest compatible/ interchangeable logic board for the MacBook white 13' uni body? And SSD?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@mayer what can I change it out with. Do you have the specs for what logic board is compatible with the A1342 so I can switch it? I'm not a computer spec person so I don't know if the spec sheet you sent is the stuff I need to get or not. I need to make it usable by today's standard or as close to it as possible.

There were only two A1342 Macs, the 2.26GHz and the 2.4 GHz, so your logic board upgrades are limited. The 2.26 can be upgraded to 8GB of Ram and the 2.4 to 16GB of RAM. You will need need to get a backward compatible SSD to 3.0 instead of the standard 6.0. The Crucial MMX 500 will work. https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/cru...
