The Monitor was Functioning then Went Black

Xiaomi Mi Curved Gaming Monitor 34

I had my monitor for almost 3 years without any problems with it. Then one day, I removed it from the monitor arm to clean it. I gently bumped the right side of the monitor on the table. It was really a gentle bump. I thought nothing wrong will happen, but I thought wrong.

Once I plugged everything back in. The bottom half screen was showing double, it's like, kind of like ghosting but not really. I thought that the LCD films inside went loose. I then gently pushed the LCD on the side where it was bumped and it went okay. After a few minutes, everything went black.

The backlights and other functions still work. I just can't get a picture anymore.

Is this still fixable or is this the end of the monitor?

@jamesallenct we would have to see the inside of the monitor. It is possible that this is a loose wire issue. It is also possible that this is an issue with the driver board. Most of these monitors have the Gamma IC on those boards. It is that IC which can cause the "kind of like ghosting but not really". Post a picture showing us what the monitor shows you and then let's see what the inside looks like. Then post some pictures of the boards etc. as well.Use this guide Xiaomi Mi Curved Gaming Monitor 34" Disassembly to work on your monitor and this to post your pictures with your QUESTION Adding images to an existing question
