Have you checked to see if the music files are still in the Trash Bin in the Mac?

Options

If you bought your music from Apples iTunes store you can re-download them. You may need to bring your iTunes receipts printed out to an Apple Store to prove you bought it.

none from iTunes all were on iPod 1300 songs was moving music to a different from iPod which had smashed screen.
