WHAT I7 CPU CAN I UPRAGE? ony my c850-b251 i5 3210m, to i7 3rd gen

I was planning to try some test on Rx 570, 580, and 590 if the temperature is no good then i will proceed to building a Desktop. NOT FOR GAMING THOUGH just for normal use i also want to watch video on 4k and i dont want to waste this laptop. using a EXP GDC BEAST for egpu

Hi @akiradokkabei

I think that the laptop has an Intel HM76 Express chipset on the motherboard. Look in Device Manager > System Devices to verify the type of chipset installed in the laptop

Here's a link that shows all the CPUs that are compatible with the chipset.

Your i5 CPU is a Socket G2 type so ensure that the replacement is also a Socket G2 to make sure that it is compatible with the motherboard's CPU socket.

I change my mind about upgrading the CPU and GPU since its not the best decision/choice, so i will just stick with 3210m cpu and for gpu my best choice maybe tthe gtx titan!. Thank you so much for the reply
