My iMac shuts down

iMac7,1 2.4, 20" EMC2133 For couple of years now, it just shuts down suddenly, (random, not after using any program, log shows nothing, doesn't seem to be caused by overheating) every day or two, sometimes 3 times a day. Swapped Ram out, reloaded OS, tried everything suggested online like reset PRAM, etc.. Thinking about replacing the power supply. Should I also replace the inverter or internal power cable harness?

There are diagnostic lights to the right of the RAM slot. I would take the frame off and see what they are telling you. You're probably right about the power supply but I see nothing to indicate an inverter issue.
