Near Mint Condition Switch Lite - Purple Screen on Boot

Hey guys, just picked up a switch lite for super cheap off of Facebook marketplace today, but it has a purple screen issue. As soon as you prompt to boot it instantly goes to a purple screen. The console is basically in mint condition, and appears to never have been opened or damaged. Previous owner says they turned it off one night and was like that the next time they turned it on. I checked https://repair.wiki/w/Nintendo_Switch and didn’t see an entry for a purple screen of death, was wondering if any of you have run into this before and maybe know of a possible solution?

Solution: Install a modchip on mariko/oled, and follow stehix's unbricking guide. You should be able to just boot into hekate and do it on an unpatched switch. The boot partition is corrupted. You should be able to keep your data in most cases if done properly.

this is a server issue it means "micro soldering" no easy repair i suggest you resell it or if you have the skill repair it yourself. the problem means that a chip has over heated or dmaged maybe even missing. i dont know whitch one exactly but it is that. try maybe holding the power button for 15 seconds then power on? if not work it is broken

Nope! Actually just did a bunch of research into it and it seems that the NAND flash is corrupted. I will be microsolding the picofly modchip onto my switch lite as soon as the parts arrive, and from there I should be able to rebuild the nand structure using hekate and a bunch of windows tools. I will try to update this post if I’m successful. Here’s a guide if anyone else has this issue in the future and wants to fix it: https://youtu.be/mH8osmtPFlA

(Microsoldering not required on unpatched switches)

@bryceshaw63143 I seem to remember seeing something about the purple one when I was doing research about the Blue Screen of Death. I'll be interested to see how you make out

@bryceshaw63143 alright but tectincally i was still right with it being an issue with a chip and/or the data on it. :D
