Why is my MacBook overheating
My laptop is getting increasingly hot near the number keys and output of the fan ports. How can I fix this?

Does it only do this when you are running certain software or does it do that all the time? Do you tend to work on something soft, like a bed or blanket or a desk? Running CPU intensive software or working on something soft can cause the laptop to get hot and overheat. Keep in mind that the computer is designed to get hot, so if the fans start running or the bottom gets hot, it's okay. It's only when you start getting notifications or unexpected shutdowns that you really need to worry.
