Connected to Wi-Fi but no internet access

I connect to any Wi-Fi or hotspot, but I’m not connecting to internet !?

It shows that I am connected to the Wi-Fi, but I cannot do anything on the net.

How can I fix this ?

What is the URL you are trying to reach and the Web browser you are using?

Update (04/23/23)

I don’t think your system is the issue here, I’m thinking your internet router setting is messed up. See if turning off the router, give it a good two minutes so the logic board flushes its settings and see if that fixes things.

I have open windows on safari that I use daily. Now I cannot access any. I have done nothing different.

@minimoo - What is your exact system?

I think you need to see if a wired connection works. Depending on the given system you may have an Ethernet connection (RJ45) to just connect the cable otherwise you’ll need a Thunderbolt adapter. See if that works.

It’s a MacBook Air, I can’t plug it in unless I go and buy a special adapter.
