CPU and logic board upgrade.

Hello,

I have 2 MacBook pros A1278 in good condition, I’m trying to upgrade the performance before considering getting a new one.

I was wondering if it would be possible to upgrade the cpu and logic board, and if it’s worth doing it.

Thank you

While you may be able to upgrade to a higher speced 2010 logic board that is about your only option. Best way to upgrade the performance in these is put 8 or 16gb of ram and an SSD. You can use the MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2010 Hard Drive Replacement and the MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2010 RAM Replacement guides to aid you with the process.
