Black top screen with cracks in it

I was taking my 3DS down the stairs to go install a new SD card that I had bought for it and ended up dropping it down the steps. It still powers on and the bottom screen still displays, but the top LCD has cracks all over the inside of it and stays black when I turn my device on. Can I still try and replace the screen or is it not worth it.

You may also need to replace the actual glass over the LCD as well. depending on the damage. It may have survived the
