How to safely Destroy the Memory

I have a screen and motherboard damaged Note 10+, the price is not worth fixing the phone. The data on there is not useful for me, but I do not want to leave anything to chance. Is there a way to safely remove the physical memory storage device and dispose the phone? or any other recommendations?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi there Anurag,

Yes, there is a way to safely destroy all data from the phone. Firstly, shut down the phone. Secondly, hold down the volume up button and power button at the same time. When the logo appears, keep holding the volume button and let go of the power button. Thirdly, use the volume up and down arrows to navigate the screen. Press Wipe data/factory reset. Then press yes. Once you have done that, restart the phone and it is good as new with all the data being safely destroyed.

Drill a hole in all of the major chips. That’s how I’ve dealt with it a few times on dead phone boards.
