Hard drive vs blade ssd upgrade

My SATA hard drive needs to be replaced due to performance issues. It is a fusion. Should I replace just the hard drive or replace both the hard drive and blade ssd for a higher capacity blade ssd? Which would give better performance or would it be the same? Thanks.

Answer this question I have this problem too

A Fusion Drive is leveraging both your HDD and Blade SSD in your system. So you really need to remove both drives. The blade SSD is quite small so it doesn’t offer anything after replacing your SATA HDD to a SSD which is what I would recommend if you are no a heavy user. Often I recommend upgrading the RAM to 16GB if you don’t presently

As to performance a SATA SSD is quite good! But if you are really need more performance then going to a One TB blade SSD which is by far the faster. I would really look at what your workflow is before you go to far.
