Broken Screen and not power on after replace the screen

My Note 7 pro fell down and broke very badly, and it worked till the battery got completely discharged, I bought a new screen and went to the repair shop, but after they replaced the screen, the mobile is not getting power on. They heated the edge and removed the broken display first and connect it to the new display.

What could be the reason? I have some important data on the onboard storage
