keyboard typing wrong letter.

my keyboard is 1st player dk 5.0 gaming keyboard. just your average tkl gaming keyboard. the problem on my keyboard is that the number on the keyboard is shuffled up and giving the wrong input.

example:

the sequence for the number is 1234567890. on my keyboard, its 1638923450

idk if you can understand this but basically

if i press 2 it typed 6, if i press 8 it typed 4, press 9 it typed 5 and vice versa

the only working number is only 1,3,0. if you realised, number 3 shows up twice. that because the key for 3 and 7 inputted the same number which is 3. also, only numbers that were affected by this and the other keys were fine.

some things you may need to know:

  1. when this happen, i may looked youtube and downloaded sharpkey that play with the registry editor.
  2. during on like administrator setting or something where it basically ignore 3rd party stuff or something, the keyboard worked absolutely fine. the numbers were typed giving the correct input and etc. as if there was a filter on my computer that giving the wrong input on my computer.

any help given is appreciated

@cempehduck Does it work if you start your computer in safe mode? It's only the numbers that are affected? Are you using a Windows computer? What version?

SharpKeys is a Registry hack that is used to make certain keys on a keyboard act like other keys.

SharpKeys does have a bug where minimizing the window causes it to freak out, so watch for that.

Undo the hack.

Here's how to fix this issue: Go to Control Panel and select the group Clock, Language, Region. Select language and choose Advanced Settings. Locate the option Override on Default Input Method and select preferred language from the drop-down menu

Will
