Can I use another models MacBook Pro lcd to test?

Hi there,

I own a MacBook Pro 16" 2019 A2141.

It doesn't show any display at all. On an external display everything works fine.

It had a minor liquid damage on the lcd-LVDS connection. I already replaced the LVDS cable, but it didn't resolve the issue.

So I want to try it with a known working display, but the displays are hard to and/or very expensive. I wanted to replace the LCD connector on the T-Con board and I was told it is the same connector as the A1706 A1707 A1708. Does this also mean that I can use their displays just to test if that will be working? Because that will make the job to find one a lot easier!

Hope someone can help me with this question!

Thanks in advance.

Yes, I have used A1990 LCD to test on a A2141 logic board. But. A1706, A1707 wont display or else it boots up to the desktop
