What version of macOS are you running?

Check your IP address and your router address. You may be a victim of a hijack, changing your router address from 192.168.1.1 to a different address, indicating your computer was hijacked, One way to disable this is to disconnect from you lan line and reboot your computer, After booting up, reconnect and check network connections. You might have to power cycle the router too, to get rid of the hijackers address.

Hi

As @flannelist has said it could be to do with your macOS version

It could also be to do with your safari version

On older macs using a different browser that has been updated recently can help this issue

Might also be worth checking you have a good WiFi connection

Hopefully this helps

Any questions please ask

Thanks:-)
