MacBook air inverts external monitor screen color

The actual monitor is a Planar PLL2210w

and it keeps inverting colors on a 2020 macbook air, works fine on a dell laptop i have, and a macbook pro also, its just on this, also i tried messing with the monitor settings, the different color settings either made the screen worse or wayyy too bright and at one point the left bottom corner just started glitching

i use a hdmi to ubs-c converter btw

this is what it looks like

update

it does this cute thing where it will make white turn green then try to fix itself i guess, then anything that supposed to be white will start flashing between green and white for a few seconds ._.

idk if its the monitor, the laptop, or maybe the converter, and how do i fix it lol

Are you using the same USB-C to HMDI dongle with the different systems?

This MacBook is one of the first systems to use Apples M SoC. What is the other MacBook Pro’s CPU/SoC? That maybe the issue with this dongle.
