How do I replace the home button ribbon cable latch/clip?

I was replacing the top screen, and when I was taking the 3DS apart I hadn’t realized the latch for the home button wasn’t one you just flip up, so I broke it and the entire clip is gone from the motherboard. I can’t replace the motherboard since I need the data on it, so how do I replace the little black latch the ribbon goes into?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

You’d have to replace the whole connector, if you can find one.

Unless you have experience with microsoldering, you're probably better off taking it to a local repair shop
