Why does my network go off when I move my laptop

Whenever I move the laptop be it the screen or the laptop as a whole the WiFi network just goes off. First I thought it was the network adapter card. Changed that but the problem persist. Could it be that the antennas are faulty?

Hi,

Check if the antenna cables may have been damaged where they pass through the hinge to get from the WLAN card on the motherboard to the antennas in the lid.

Here's the owner manual for the laptop. Go to p.44 to view the procedure to remove the display assembly. This will allow you to access the antenna cables.

If they're damaged search online for DC33001Y52L A166P7 to find suppliers that suit you best.

Michael Bibila if it turns off rapidly while moving your computer, I would look for lose connections. Could be the antenna wire etc. Do a test and connect via a cable and see if the network stays stable. If so, you know the issues is strictly with the wireless. Check the antenna, the Card and the connections from the antenna.
