Replaced charging port, still rebooting

Yah so had a charging port panic full prs0 whatever you call it, i replaced the charging port, and nothing has changed, did i less up? Is it a bad part, is somthibg blocking the sensor? Please help, thabks guys (and gals)

@natedawg22, no, I'm afraid not. I was suggesting posting it here so we can all see the text of the error message; there are several people on here who are very experienced in dealing with kernel panics who might be able to help.

If the issue is the PRS0 sensor, that’s the pressure sensor (barometer). It has a pretty recognizable appearance on the charge port assembly. When I buy these, I generally make sure I get them from reputable vendors, or ones with a documented warranty or return policy. I have seen shoddy cables of all sorts, but testing in a known good housing, or with a known good charge port would be a good start.

If it still does this with a known good, charge port, then you may be looking at a board problem.

Ok question, for the little hole where the sensor goes, any adivce? How do i get it in there? Should i glue it in? Should it stick by itself? What glue? Should i be carefull not to do somthing? Thx boss

Also does the port flexes/black sheet stuff have to blue glued diwn in anyway for me to test?

Did you use an original chargeport? And try to disconnect all flexcables except the on/off flex. If it restarts, add one flex at the time until you found the problem.
