My iPhone was teared down on first day

Hi All,

I am from india and bought iphone 4s from USA tru my friend. I mistakenly put my micro sim into iphone 4s micro slot without tray in my iphone 4s.Sim got stucked.It was new phone.......I called Apple india support and Apple authorised centres ..They said 'they cant help' but one apple guy suggest me an authorised local repair owner.I went there, he removed micro sim and said a small pin slightly altered ..He corrected it and now my iphone works fine..My question is since it was opened on first day and a small correction has been made, will it cause frequent problems to my iphone 4s in coming months? Please help me..Tat un authorised dealer who solved my issue seems to be an expert in iphone 4 hardware..

if you have used a reliable and proficient repairer then there is no reason that it will cause problems. The sim tray is not opened daily/hourly so will receive little wear and tear. It sounds like one of the pins that contact onto the sim to read it, if it were a problem then you would have no network/insert sim messages!

Thanks for ur reply..U are right..A pin was in contact and it read 'SIM messages' ..He changed and now its fine...Thanks..
